Less than a week after closing three of its schools — including two in Laurel — because of concerns about swine flu, Prince George’s County Public Schools announced Tuesday that all schools will be open on Wednesday.
Montpelier, University Park and Vansville elementary schools were all closed for varying periods of time after students or staff at the three schools were considered "probable" for infection by the H1N1 flu virus.
The announcement by Prince George's County comes after the state health department received new guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control that allowed for the reopening of all schools in Maryland that had previously been closed due to concerns about H1N1.
