Elkridge/Jessup

Richards Valley Road, 5700 block, 3:06 a.m. May 18. Police responded to Coal Fire Pizza for a business alarm and found the front door glass smashed. Attempt made to gain entry to office area. Nothing appeared stolen.

Business Parkway, 6600 block, 11:48 p.m. May 15. An employee of Best Buy Warehouse was outside when a male jumped out of the woods carrying a large butcher knife and attempted to rob him. Male with knife fled and nothing was stolen.

Dorsey Run Road, 7100 block, 12:25 a.m. May 14. Man arrested after business break-in. No further information.

Montgomery Road, 7100 block, 2:40 p.m. May 12. Black 2000 Chevrolet Conversion Van stolen.

Ellicott City

New Cut Road, 4200 block, between 9 a.m. May 7 and 9 a.m. May 14. Entry to New Cut Sewage Pumping Station gained possibly via a rear door. Papers removed from a desk and thrown down a hatch.

Town and Country Boulevard, 9100 block, between 8 a.m. May 11 and 10 a.m. May 13. Entry to residence made through the front door by unknown means. Jewelry and gold pieces stolen.

Savage/North Laurel

Hitching Post Lane, 9100 block, 11 p.m. May 13. Vehicle stolen. No further information.

Kings Grant Road, 9400 block, between 9 p.m. May 12 and 8:30 a.m. May 13. Window to residence pried open. Nothing appeared missing.

Mission Hill Place, 8100 block, between 6 p.m. May 11 and 10 a.m. May 12. Front door to residence kicked in. Nothing appeared missing.

Washington Boulevard, 9900 block, between 6 p.m. May 11 and 10 a.m. May 12. Car Masters business entered through a rear wall. Keys to a burgundy 1983 Cadillac DeVille taken and vehicle stolen.

Washington Boulevard, 9000 block, 11:14 p.m. May 12. A police officer responded to a business alarm at the 2GO Convenience store and followed a suspicious vehicle. The driver bailed out in the 8300 block of Woodward Street. The passenger was arrested without resistance. The driver was located by a police helicopter and arrested. Cigarettes and lottery tickets recovered.

Pocomoke Drive and Assateague Drive, 8:39 p.m. April 28. Male reported that he was approached by two known males who assaulted him and robbed him of a video game system and cell phone as he exited a Howard Transit bus. Juvenile male arrested.

Clarksville/Fulton

Sapling Way, 14800 block, 5:47 p.m. May 17. Dirt bike stolen from an unlocked garage.

Quiet Ways, 5900 block, between 4 and 4:15 p.m. May 16. Residence entered through an open garage door or unlocked rear sliding door. Cash and credit cards stolen from a wallet left on the kitchen counter.

Chestnut Court, 14800 block, between 9 p.m. May 13 and 2 a.m. May 14. Garage entered and unsecured vehicle entered. Nothing stolen.

West County

Ridge Road, 700 block, between 8 p.m. May 16 and 8:30 a.m. May 17. Dirt bike stolen from unlocked shed.

Howard Lodge Drive, 12300 block, between 11:30 p.m. May 11 and 7:45 a.m. May 12. Three four-wheelers stolen from an unsecured garage. At a neighboring property in the 12200 block of Howard Lodge Drive, someone let horses out of the barn during the same time frame.
