A motorcycle driver and his wife were injured Saturday when their motorcycle veered off of Route 29 at Seneca Drive in Columbia and struck a guard rail, police said.
Timothy Danaher, 55, of Ellicott City, was driving southbound on Route 29 shortly before 2 p.m. when, police said, he veered left and crashed into a guard rail. Danaher and his wife, Diana Danaher, 52, who was his passenger, were thrown from the motorcycle, police said.
The pair was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where Timothy Danaher was listed in critical condition Monday, a hospital spokeswoman said. Diana Danaher was treated and released Sunday, the spokeswoman said.
