East Columbia

Majors Lane, 6000 block, between 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. June 8. Attempt made to pry open front door to residence. No entry gained.

Whiteacre Road, 9600 block, 3:29 a.m. June 7. Silver 2007 Ford Focus stolen.

Broken Wing Court, 6200 block, between 1 p.m. June 5 and 3 p.m. June 7. Rear door to residence pried open. Electronics and a safe stolen.

Gold Sunset Way, 8400 block, between 12:10 p.m. and 12:20 p.m. June 5. Homeowner contacted by alarm company, returned home, observed rear slider ajar and observed two males outside. Males fled in an unknown direction.

Cradlerock Way, 6700 block, 3:18 a.m. June 7. Police responded to Cradlerock School for an alarm and saw a boy running from the school. After a short pursuit, the boy was apprehended and arrested.

Dobbin Road, 6300 block, 9 p.m. June 5. Male approached another male, pulled out a screwdriver and demanded money and cell phone. Victim said he had no money and the cell phone belonged to his employer. Male demanded the battery from the cell phone and fled on foot.

Oakland Mills Road, 7200 block, 3:40 p.m. June 4. Three young males observed kicking in the door to a vacant house.

Parallel Lane, 6200 block, between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. June 3. Front door pried open. Money, phones, chargers and a computer stolen.

Riding Hood Circle, 7200 block, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. June 3. Glass sliding door pried open, residence ransacked. Cash and jewelry stolen.

Ridgeview Drive, 9500 block, between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. June 2. Residence entered by prying a rear window screen and then forcing the rear window open. Once inside, several items moved, but nothing stolen.

West Columbia

Snowflake Court, 11200 block, 4:55 p.m. June 7. Maroon 2007 Toyota Cruiser stolen.

Gov. Warfield Parkway, 10000 block, 1 p.m. June 4. Exterior entry door to Fountainhead Title pried open exterior entry door and then the inside door. Laptop computers stolen.

Little Patuxent Parkway, 11300 block, between 5 p.m. June 30 and 8 p.m. June 3. Apartment entered. Credit cards, jewelry and medication stolen. No sign of forced entry.

Hickory Ridge Road, 10600 block, 1 a.m. June 3. Homeless man was sleeping at the bus stop. A male woke him up by hitting him in the face with a handgun. The male with the gun demanded money and took the homeless male's wallet containing cash and a debit card. Male with gun fled.
