Exercise demonstrations, health screenings and healthful foods will be showcased at a men's health fair Saturday, Oct. 24 at Howard High School.

The free event, running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will include health screenings and free confidential HIV testing. Participants also may sample food prepared by Howard High's culinary students and Let's Dish, a meal preparation store in Columbia.

Also featured will be local gyms, including Crazy 88 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Combattitude, Lifetime Fitness and Top Flight.

The first-annual fair, targeted at the needs and interests of men, is being presented by County Council member Calvin Ball, U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings and the county Health Department.
