St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, 522 Main St., will offer a free Thanksgiving Day dinner to anyone in the community, including families and individuals and those without resources. The dinner will be served on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26, from noon to 3 p.m. in the church’s Wyatt Hall (enter from Main Street). In addition, meals will be delivered to those who are housebound, and volunteers will provide transportation to the church. To arrange for meal delivery or transportation to the dinner, call the church at 301-776-5151.

Laurel First Assembly of God, 1102 Montgomery St., will hold a “Feed the Hungry” program, serving a traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings, on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 7 p.m. Door prizes will also be offered. Call the church at 301-490-0100.
