Howard County and Prince George’s County police located on May 14 an Elkridge woman who had gone missing the previous day.

Police located 51-year-old Princella Pryor on Contee Road in Laurel after receiving a call at about 4:30 p.m. from a person who recognized Pryor from pictures in news reports, Howard police said.

Pryor had last been seen at her home on Ducketts Lane in Elkridge at 12:30 p.m. May 13. She walked away from her home later that day, Howard police said.

Pryor, who suffers from mental illness and is diabetic, was in need of medication while missing, Howard police added.

The person who saw Pryor called Howard police and 911, after which police from Howard and Prince George’s counties combined their efforts to locate and pick up Pryor, Howard police spokeswoman Sherry Llewellyn said.

Pryor was in good condition May 14, police said.
