East Columbia

Lasting Light Way, 7200 block, 8:36 a.m. June 2. White Chevrolet van stolen.

Deep Earth Lane, 6200 block, between 8:45 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. June 2. Residence broken into by forcing open front door. Game system, a laptop computer and DVDs stolen.

Tamar Drive, 8300 block, between 8:15 a.m. and 8 p.m. June 2. Residence broken into by forcing open front door. Computer equipment, jewelry, silverware and other items stolen.

Marie Curie Drive, 6600 block, 3:29 a.m. June 2. Residence entered through rear door. Alarm activated.

Tamar Drive, 8800 block, 12:24 a.m. June 1. Police responded to residence for a known person attempting to break into residence. Person fled on foot before police arrived.

Oakland Mills Road, 7100 block, 2:42 a.m. June 1. Interior door at Jump Zone Play Center pried open. Nothing stolen.

Deep Earth Lane, 6200 block, between 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. May 28. Front door of residence kicked in.Money, credit cards and jewelry stolen.

Berger Road, 9200 block, between May 23 and 7 a.m. May 28. Entry gained to Bechtel Inc. and locks were cut off three trailers. Nothing stolen.

Oakland Mills Road, 6900 block, between 1:51 a.m. and 1:52 a.m. May 28. Front door to Ledo's Pizza smashed to gain entry. Nothing stolen.

West Columbia

Little Patuxent Parkway, 11300 block, 8:11 a.m. June 1. Tan 2004 Nissan Altima stolen.

Little Patuxent Parkway, 10700 block, between May 31, time unknown and 12:08 p.m. June 1. Rear door glass smashed to gain entry at Patuxent Publishing. Numerous offices ransacked. Two vending machines broken into; the cash box from one vending machine stolen.

Gold Needle Way, 11900 block, 7:57 a.m. May 31. Males seen attempting to enter garage. Resident opened the front door and the pair fled.

Flowertuft Court, 5100 block, between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. May 30. Residence broken into and ransacked. Coins, jewelry and a cooler lunch bag stolen.

Harpers Farm Road, 5400 block, 6:14 a.m. May 31. Male threw rock through front door of Nail Center, then fled toward the back of Safeway store.

Harpers Farm Road, 5400 block, between 7:30 p.m. May 27 and 9 a.m. May 28. Attempt made to smash window of Tuesday Morning store.

Harpers Farm Road, 5400 block, between 11 p.m. May 27 and 7:56 a.m. May 28. Front glass door to Zapata's smashed to gain entry. Two cash registers stolen.

Rock Coast Road, 10900 block, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. May 27. Safe containing jewelry and cash stolen. No sign of forced entry.

Westwood Drive, 10200 block, 1:10 a.m. May 28. House entered and exited through basement window. Nothing stolen.

Rivendell, 5200 block, between 2:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. May 27. Residence entered through unsecured second-story balcony. Video game console, television and check book stolen.
