Diane Bell

Diane Bell, of Columbia, died Sept. 16, 2008, at Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park. She was 52.

Mrs. Bell was born in New York on March 2, 1956 to the late Joseph DiFranco and Joann (Giglielmo) DiFranco. She was a benefits manager for the state of Maryland.

Mrs. Bell is survived by her husband, William S. Bell, of Columbia; a daughter, Juliette Hope Bell; her mother, Joann DiFranco; and a sister, Ellen Fish.

A funeral service was held at Oakland Mills Interfaith Center on Sept. 23. Interment was at Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill, N.Y., on Sept. 24.
