Paula Maier Dike, of Ellicott City, died March 20, 2009, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, in North Carolina. She was 69.

Mrs. Dike was born Nov. 26, 1939, in Douglas County, Kan., to Clarence Dean Maier and Elizabeth (Sain) Maier.

She was an occupational therapist.

Mrs. Dike was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Mark Dike, and son, Randall Dean Dike.

She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Gayle White; a son, Bradley Dale Dike; and three grandchildren.

Services were private.
