Edward C. Prevosto

Edward Charles Prevosto, of Ellicott City, died May 26, 2009, at the Charlestown Retirement Community, in Catonsville. He was 85.

Mr. Prevosto was born March 11, 1924, in the Baltimore-Metropolitan area.

For many years he worked as an engineer with the Maryland prison system. He was also interested in woodworking and doing handyman work around the house, and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores (Hickman) Prevosto; his children, Steven Prevosto, Terry Weiss, Douglas Prevosto, Michael Prevosto, Jeannie Prevosto and Susan Houck; his grandchildren, Candice, Chris, Shane, Chelsea, Hanna, Halle, Noah, Reagan and Evan; and his siblings, Joseph Prevosto and Mary Ann Perry.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held June 1, 2009, at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel at Charlestown Retirement Community, in Catonsville. Interment was at New Cathedral Cemetery.
