Marjorie DeVries

Marjorie Lee DeVries (White), of Ellicott City, died June 12, 2009, at Howard County General Hospital. She was 83.

She was born July 11, 1925, in Baltimore, and was the daughter of Lewis M. White and Anna Capps White.

She was a homemaker and loved gardening

Mrs. DeVries was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Wadlow DeVries; and her brother, Frances Watts; and her parents.

She is survived by her daughters, Marsha Hodge and her husband, David, of New Market, and Linda Evans and her husband, Rich, of Marriottsville; her brother, William White, of Baltimore; and her grandchildren, Joseph Hodge, Ashley Evans, Courtney Evans and Daniel Evans.
