Mary L. Golliday

Mary Lucille Golliday, of Falling Waters, W.Va., and formerly of Ellicott City, died June 25, 2009, at Heartland of Martinsburg, W.Va. She was 80.

Born Feb. 8, 1929, in Oella, she was the daughter of James Athelius and Nora Lucile Shifflett Foster.

Mrs. Golliday was employed by General Electric, in Columbia, until retiring in 1978. She was of the Methodist faith.

She was a member of 7472 VFW Ladies Auxillary, of Ellicott City, and IORM Red Feather Council 59 Degree of Pocohontas Williamsport.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Estep "George" Golliday, on Nov. 8, 2004; and by three brothers, James E. Foster, Billy L. Foster and Larry E. Foster.

She is survived by nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law

Graveside services were to be held at the convenience of the family.
