Geraldine Marie Baumann, of Angleton, Texas, formerly of Elkridge, died May 27, 2008, at Season's Hospice & Palliative Care in Baltimore of intestinal complications. She was 81.
Born Nov. 14, 1926, in New Orleans, as an orphan, she was raised in a Catholic convent in Louisiana Parish, and graduated from high school in 1942.
For two years, she attended Our Lady Of the Lake University, in San Antonio, where she studied air traffic control.
Ms. Baumann was a homemaker who invested in the stock market.
She was a member of St. Louis Church, in Clarksville.
Ms. Baumann is survived by a daughter and a son-in-law, Gloria J. and Kevin L. Dunckel, of Clarksville; four grandchildren, Jennifer J. Atkinson, of Dayton, Ashley N. Dunckel, of Woodbine, Kevin L. Dunckel Jr., of Clarksville, and Kenneth R. Dunckel, of Clarksville; and a great-grandson, Justin L. Toney, of Woodbine.
Funeral services were held June 2, 2008, at St. Louis Church chapel, in Clarksville. The Rev. James Sorra officiated.
Interment followed at St. Louis Cemetery.
