Angeline Mary "Dolly" Locklear, of Elkridge, died May 30, 2008, of a stroke, at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She was 84.
Born Oct. 19, 1923, in Washington, D.C., to Thomas and Catherine Mary Tonon Da Ros, she graduated from a high school in Washington.
She married David C. Salisbury Sr. in 1959. He died in 1982.
She married Iron "Mac" Locklear in 1985.
Mrs. Locklear worked as a teacher at various day-care centers, including the Jessup Daycare Center and Deerfield Elementary School, in Laurel, for more than 10 years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Laurel, Jessup Baptist Church and First Baptist Church, in Baltimore.
Mrs. Locklear was predeceased by her husband of 23 years, David C. Salisbury Sr.; and a son, James Robert Cheatham.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Iron "Mac" Locklear, of Elkridge; a daughter, Marie Machen, of Ocean Pines; two stepdaughters, Margaret Lee Meiklejohn, of Baltimore, and Rose Marie Curtain, of White Marsh; three sons, Robert Cheatham, of Maryland, Raymond Cheatham, of Maryland, and David C. Salisbury Jr., of Pasadena; two stepsons, Mackel Locklear and Wyatt Locklear, both of Baltimore; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held June 4, 2008, at Donaldson Funeral Home, in Laurel. The Rev. Bob Hunt officiated.
Interment followed at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, in Bladensburg.
