Marcia Ann Majka, of Ellicott City, died June 14, 2008, at her residence. She was 52.

Born March 20, 1956, in San Francisco, to Billy Lee and Evelyn Lee Payne Brinkley, she graduated from Crestmor High School in San Bruno, Calif., in 1974.

In the late 1970s, she graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology.

She married Kenneth J. Majka in 1983.

Mrs. Majka was a homemaker.

She was predeceased by her father, Billy Lee Brinkley.

In addition to her husband of 25 years, Mrs. Majka is survived by a son, Maxfield Majka, of Ellicott City; a brother, Mark Brinkley, of Lincoln, Calif.; and her mother, Evelyn Brinkley, of Lincoln.

A memorial service is slated for Saturday, June 28, 2008, 7:30 p.m., at 2803 Green Shade Court, Ellicott City.
