Born Nov. 16, 1914, in Philadelphia, to Charles G. and Flora E. Kling Kurz, she graduated from high school in Washington, D.C., in the 1930s.
She married George E. Schuck in 1934.
Mrs. Schuck worked as an administrative assistant for the U.S. government at the U.S. Weather Bureau, in Washington, for 30 years. She retired in 1969.
In the 1970s, she graduated with honors from the University of Maryland with a bachelor's degree in art.
She was predeceased by her husband of three years, George E. Schuck, who died in 1937; four brothers, Charles Kurz, Frederick Kurz, John Kurz and Joseph Kurz.
Mrs. Schuck is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth S. Schepps, of Alexandria, Va., and Flora S. Strub, of Highland; two sisters, Mary Anstead, of Gaithersburg, and Anne Sansbury, of West Virginia; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held June 24, 2008, at St. Louis Catholic Church, in Clarksville.
Interment followed at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, in Brentwood.
