The picture on last week's front page is a reminder of why Merriweather Post Pavilion should remain a small venue and not an attraction for hordes of rockers. As it is, Columbia seems to harbor a large population of the WOH (World's Oldest Hippies), who whine about new grocery and drug stores but think the roads should instead be jammed with "concert" goers.

The noise and pollution, not to mention congestion, increases in Columbia daily. Why would you want to make it any worse?
