The Unique All-Stars cheerleading program in Columbia is looking for youth ages 5-18. Private tryouts, scheduled by request, are currently being held. Kernan Sports Medicine and the University of Maryland Sports Medicine will offer high school sports physicals, by appointment only, July 26 at Central Maryland Rehabilitation in Columbia from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Sports physicals will also be offered Aug. 2, 8 a.m.-2 p.m., at Kernan Physical Therapy in Woodlawn and Aug. 9, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., in College Park. The Oakland Mills High School Boosters Club is sponsoring summer sports camps for ages 9-14.
