Special Olympics
Special Olympics Howard County is looking for volunteers age 18 and older to serve as basketball partners. Basketball proficiency is not required, just a willingness to play with Special Olympic athletes who love the game. Partners will attend a preliminary practice Wed., Dec. 9 and an orientation Dec. 13 at 1:30 p.m. Practices are held twice a week starting in January.
Other Unified Sports offered are soccer, swimming, skiing, bocce, tennis and golf.
