Golf

The Howard County NAACP is hosting its seventh annual golf event July 21 at the Timbers at Troy Golf Course, in Elkridge. The event begins with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Proceeds from the event are used to support annual scholarships to high school students, ACT-SO competitions, the Back-to-School program, health initiatives and other NAACP programs.

Table tennis/chess

The Howard County/Carroll County Table Tennis Club will host a day camp for table tennis and chess in the Carrolltown Center in Eldersburg July 14-18.
